ilovecharts: M&Ms colors throughout the years Was just recounting a story the other day about how I used to organize my M&M’s so that I ate my favorite colors last. My dad taught me this principle as delayed gratification. In hindsight that sounds a little Pavlovian, but the principle is worthy. And a great way to demonstrate it to a 5 year old. Related, I got some Peanut Butter M&Ms yesterday and decided to organize them from least favorite (brown) to most favorite (blue). I probably like red more than blue, but scarcity won out… Also, I have a lot of memories playing M&M baseball: brown = out, tan (RIP) = foul, yellow = single, orange = double, green = triple. Then when red came back they became home runs.  So much personal history in one little candy… Who would have thought…
